Welcome to Carolina Cockers. We are a pure bred, cocker spaniel rescue and adoption center.  Our mission is to help homeless cocker spaniels in any way possible.  To date, we have rescued over 4000 cocker spaniels from animal shelters or otherwise dangerous situations.

BE AWARE - We are dealing with shelters that are EXTREMELY overcrowded.  For example, one shelter in SC put down 90 dogs on September 29, 30, and October 1.  This is simply due to the overwhelming number of dogs being cast aside.  Please help where you can!

There are currently a great number of dogs in need in SC who could greatly benefit from our help. Many in the Greenwood shelter, some in Clinton and several already here at CCR who need great homes. The homes we place them in up north are fantastic! We already have several homes that are waiting for some of these wonderful homeless animals that we have here in SC. All funds, if any, raised from adoption donations go towards helping our cockerkids with heartworm treatments and other needs. If you can help us by donating to allow us to make this trip on the 9th we (and the dogs we save) would truly appreciate it!

Foster Highlight

Attention New York/New Jersey Adopters!

First of all thank you for tolerating our new Petfinder page and getting here to our website. Carolina Cockers is a branch of Cocker Spaniel Rescue Worldwide. At this time we are asking that you put your application in on this website, eventually we will have the CSRW site up and running. Currently we are planning a trip to NJ to replenish our foster home there with new cockers. If you see someone listed that you feel is your perfect match please contact us and we will arrange to bring your cocker with us. They are all great dogs and we are more than happy to talk with you should you have any other questions or want to know more about a particular cocker. We will arrive on August 30, the location and time is not set quite yet but it is always a fun filled day. If this trip is anything like the others we have made then all the dogs will be adopted before we even get up there. So please do not hesitate to put in your application. New dogs come in daily here it seems so if you have a wish list of your perfect cocker please don't hesitate to email that to us. If you are interested in fostering for us we would LOVE to hear from you as well. We have SO many cockers in your area and absolutely love our Northern adopters! So welcome to Carolina Cockers and we look forward to a long friendship!
